Vincent Edward Smith

On Wednesday July 5, 2017 God called home Vincent E. Smith for eternal rest. He was born on September 11, 1963 to Rosa Lee & Louis Calvin Smith in Norfolk County.

Vincent was educated in the Virginia Beach School System, and after graduating from Green Run High School he went to work for the City of Virginia Beach in Landfill & Landscaping Department.

Vincent was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who loved his family.

He was predeceased by his Mother Rosa Lee Smith & Father Louis C. Smith. 2 Brothers: Louis Smith & Billy Smith. 2 Sisters: Josette Smith & Priscilla Smith.

Vincent is survived by his wife Joanne Smith.  1 step son Antonio Kelly of Virginia Beach. 2 Grand Daughters Shaikya Davis, Chesapeake, Patience Kelly, Florida & 2 Grandson Trayvion, Norfolk & Anarje Bell of Virginia Beach. 1 Sister Tonya Gregg of Norfolk, VA. 5 Brothers Dennis of Charlotte, NC; Larry of Portsmouth; Geno, Anthony & Tony Smith, all of Chesapeake, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends.  

Vincent was truly a person with words that could make you smile, laugh, or just be at a lost for words. He was a loving father, and hero to his family. Truly we all will miss our husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, dancing partner, and music man.
