Ruth Virginia Gray

On Tuesday March 16, 2021, Ruth Gray also known as Teenie Baby was called to her resting place at The Citadel Nursing Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin, friend and woman of God. She was born July 4, 1946 in Norfolk, Va. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School class of 1964 in Norfolk. She also attended Norfolk State University and Allied Health Institute. She was a CNA and enjoyed caring for the elderly, the sick, and shut in. She did private duty nursing for over 30 years. She also enjoyed her grandchildren, taking care of plants, going on cruises, attending her class reunions, singing in the choir, and watching NBA basketball. Her bright smile lit up a room.

She just loved fashion. Whenever she dressed you would have thought she was a millionaire, but she was rich in spirit.

She was predeceased by her husband William K. Gray Sr., her only son William K. Gray Jr.,

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; 3 daughters Katrena Holmes, Moneca Simmons, and Karnea Washington, 2 grandchildren Jessica Gray and Tyrone Gray, 1 brother Carlton Scott (Anita Scott), 1 sister-in-law Joyce Cross of Scotch Plains, NJ, and a host of family and friends. Dear Mama, you well always be present in your hearts; until we meet again. Rest in Heavenly Peace.
