Robert Edward "Bobby" Sills

Min. Robert E. "Bobby" Sills, age 77, died on 8 July 2022 in Portsmouth, VA.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie A. Sills, his siblings, Daisy Stevenson, Maggie Banks, Audrey DeShields, Gracie Sills and brother Eddie Sills, and his grandson, SGT Jarred I. Hollins.

He was born on 31 July 1944 in Norfolk VA to parents Mr. Eddie and Ada Lee Sills.

He was a great family man and a loving father. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and reading the bible.

Robert Sills is survived by his paternal aunt, Ella Lee Sills Williams, his sisters, Mrs. Senora Turner, Mrs. Sandra Fleming, Mrs. Paulette Brown and Mrs. Polly Young, his brothers, Mr. Lorenzo Thompson, Mr. Wiley Sills, Mr. Larry Sills, his children, Mr. Daryl Sills, Mrs. Asparsa Hollins (Stanley), Mr. Robert Sills Jr., Ms. Rebecca Maltby, Mrs. Shawna Granby (Mike), Mrs. Drusilla Gonnella (Scott), Mr. Mark Sills, Mr. Buddha Sills, Ms. Shurrik Sills, Ms. Natikka Sills (Tim),Brian Blount and a host of nieces and nephews.

Min. Robert Sills has 27 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Min. Robert Sills served 5 years in the U.S. Army as a truck mechanic and attained the rank of SGT.
