Miriam P. Malone

Miriam Malone , age 68, of Norfolk passed away on May 28, 2021. She was born on August 16, 1952. She obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work from Norfolk State University and a Master’s Degree in Theology from Regent University following a distinguished career as a School Bus Driver for Norfolk Public Schools. Her kind heart was evident in her service to God as a Church Usher, her voluntary service at the election polls, and her social work service for those in need.

The beloved matriarch is preceded in Heaven by her parents Babe and Ruth Johnson. She is survived by her loving husband, Marilynn T. Malone; Two sons Solomon D Johnson, and William M Johnson; one stepson Maryland Lawrence; fivegrandchildren: Mona Johnson Smith, Melanie Jordan, Solomon Johnson Jr, Taj Johnson and Erik Williams; eight great grandchildren and many friends.
