Margaret Watson

Margaret Virginia Watson, 95, of Painter, VA, departed this life on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Born in Accomack County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Estella White and Bud Knox. Her husband, Leon Watson, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Watson was a member of Herbert Baptist Church, where she served as an usher. She attended Church of Christ in Chesapeake, VA.

Prior to retiring, she was a cook at Commander Hotel in Ocean City. She attended Senior Services of Chesapeake. 

She will be lovingly remembered by: a daughter, Sharon Wiggins (Ernest); four sons, Ronnie White (Margaret), Myles White, Norman White (Brenda), and Robert "Bobby" Watson (Martha Walker); in-laws, Eddie Snead (Virginia), Johnny Snead, and Patsy Minor; 26 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Leon "June" Ayres.
