Lilly V. Philpot

On Friday, January 13, 2023, Lilly V. Philpot, loving wife, and mother of three, passed away at the age of seventy- One. Lilly was born on August 30^th, 1951, to Opal Sims and Arnold Smith in Dayton, Ohio.

Lilly is known for her warmhearted and giving spirit. She was a living example of the bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Lilly enjoyed traveling with her family and visiting with her grandchildren. She also served in the United States Navy for 21 years, where she met her husband, Lindsey M. Philpot Sr.

She is survived by three children: Micah T. Smith, Cindy Philpot, and Lindsey M. Philpot Jr., three grandchildren: Dominick Philpot, Semieyah Jesters, & Lindsey Philpot III. She raised her children with love and devotion in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her husband Lindsey M. Philpot Sr. She is also survived  by her sister, Delores Smith of Dayton, Ohio.
