Kayla May Hurst

Will Always Love

Kayla was born Febuary 2, 1996 in Chesapeake, Virginia to Dave and Erica Hurst. She graduated High School in Virginia Beach, VA. She was a Pre-School and Pre-K teacher, she later decided to open her own childcare business named Little Steps, LLC.

Before anything else in life, Kayla was a mother. A mother to Kaliyah and Ares, the lights of her life. One of her favorite things in this world was to be surrounded by family. Every holiday, every birthday, almost every weekend she spent time with her family. She was very independent, very hard working, and very passionate about the things she believed in. Kayla had the brightest eyes, green and gold a very rare combination, extremely beautiful. She was very loving, so caring, gifts that gave her the ability to unite friends and family!

She was loved by her parents, Dave and Erica Hurst; brother Dillion Hurst, 2 children Ares Jahkai Talbot, Kaliyah Jahnai Talbot; The love of her life, Shakeer Talbot; Grandparents, Great grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, In-laws and many friends!

Memories last a lifetime only if you share them.

Kayla, I was proud to know you had two beautiful children, a husband, and living a happy life. I\'ll never forget all the laughter and silly times. Thank you for being Amanda\'s friend. My sincere condolences go out to Kayla\'s family for such a great loss.

We met in the most awkward situation ever. Your husband and my significant other at the time thought "Hey why don't our girlfriends become friends so that y'all can hang out while we play the game". So we began to awkwardly hang out because they wanted to play the game together undisturbed lol. Who would have that that uncomfortable situation would have turned to a friendship that lasted longer than that relationship I was in. I have watched you and your little family grow from no kids to 2. You turned every little setback to a major comeback. You have overcome many obstacles at a age that most people would have doubted you! We called each other and vented about situations we were in because we valued each others opinion! I saw you as my family no questions asked. You never judged me and i never judged you. You was such a chill, happy person and I thank you for all of those talks and advice. You will truly be missed Kayla Talbot (Yes "Talbot" because everyone knows, that was your husband paper or not that's what you went by and that is what you were, A Talbot)

We met under the most awkward situation ever! My ex and your husband were friends and they thought, "Hey wouldnt it be cool if our girlfriends become friends so they could hang out while we played the game." Lol so we ended up awkwardly hanging out because they wanted to play the game all day unbothered. Who would have known that awkward situation started a friendship that lasted longer than that relationship I was in. I have watched you and your family grow and fight through every obstacle that got put in y'all path. You literally took every setback and turned it into a major comeback! I loved you like family. When we spoke it was never bad vibes. We have called each other and vented on our situations because we valued each others opinion. You truly will be missed. I love You Kay T.
