A TIME TO BE BORN

JaQuay Shykeem Hogan was born on June 4, 2001 in Norfolk, Virginia.  He was popularly known as “Mark Will” by friends.

A TIME TO LIVE

JaQuay was a member of Bountiful Blessings Ministries, and he was educated in the Norfolk, Public School System, where he graduated from Maury High School in 2019.  He lived his life with no regrets.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He loved without reserve and gave himself without hesitation.  He always called or texted loved ones to check on them or just to say, “I love you”.  Jaquay was a caring, loving, protecting young man and though his time with family and friends was not long, he touched many lives and was loved deeply. 

A TIME TO DIE

JaQuay was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, who passed gently into the arms of Jesus on July 15, 2022.

A TIME TO MOURN

JaQuay left to cherish his memories his parents Kenya Hogan and Ronnie Walker (Kena); Siblings Alexis Hogan, Diamond, Maroneka, Uniqua, RaQuan, Tabria, Amonee’, LaMya, Ra’Shad, Ronnie, Yamique and Giani; Grandfather Charles Midgett (Barbara Ann); Grandmother Gayle Walker; Uncles Dennis Hogan (Melodie), Darryl Hogan (Pamela), and Donald Scott (Antionette); and Aunt Iris Hogan.  JaQuay also has a host of dearly loved ones  great aunts, eight nephews, nine nieces-Ja’Nyla Claiborne, cousins, godmother Sharon and many friends.  JaQuay was loved by many and will be truly missed.
