On Wednesday February 3, 2021, God unexpectedly called our beloved angel Iman Symone Grinage home. Iman (AKA TOOT) was born on August 9, 1991 to Novalyn Thomas. Iman graduated from Salem High School where she immediately went on to dedicate her life to being an amazing mother to her beautiful children. Iman jumped right into the working field following graduation to make a way and provide for her loving children up until recently where she suddenly fell sick. Iman was a devoted, selfless, caring, outgoing and most importantly a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, goddaughter, sister, cousin, friend and overall, just a phenomenal woman. Iman was preceded in death by a special grandmother Rita M. Flowers, Great-Grandmother Elizabeth Faulcon and her Great-Grandfather Cleveland Faulcon.
Iman leaves behind to cherish her memory and celebrate her life her Fiancé, Joseph Bray; Children, Imani Octavia Williams, Imari Isaiah Williams, I’yanni LaChey White, I’yarri Lamont White, Josiah Orlando Bray, Ja’Niyah Monae Bray; Mother, Novalyn V. Thomas; Stepfather, Orlando Antonio Thompson; Grandmother, RuthAnn Johnson; Grandfathers, Noah Poinsette Jr., Wayne Johnson and James Flowers; Great-Grandfather, Noah Poinsette; Great-Grandmother, Mary Poinsette; Sisters, Iesha Rusha Thompson & I’shay Imari Thomas; Godsisters, Jasmine Gregory, Taylor L. C. Dews; Godbrothers, Wesley Gregory, Terrence Gregory, Adrian C. Dews, Jr; Special Godparents, Terra & Adrian Dews, Kim Gregory; Uncles, Kente Evans (Rhianna) & Jenerrio Evans (Claire); Three Special Cousins, Ken’asia Evans, Alyssa Evans & Kayla Evans and a host of other relatives and friends. Iman will truly be missed and will forever live on through each of us.
