Emmett Williams transitioned on Tuesday April 13, 2021 in Sentara Princess Anne Hospital Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Emmett Carl Williams was born on July 10, 1957 in Augusta, GA to the late Emmitt C. Williams and Ola Bell Williams. He is a retired military veteran having proudly served 20 years in the United States Navy, during which he met and married his wife of 36 years, Delinda. Emmett loved his family dearly and most enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He had the biggest, beautiful smile and loved to laugh, always seeking an opportunity to share a “dad joke”.

Emmett leaves behind to cherish his memories, his three aunts, Mary Butler (Lloyd), Inez Shoultz and Barbara Crawford; his wife Delinda Williams; three daughters, Nekisha Tate (Synica), Adrian Seals (Courtney) and Kyla Williams; three grandchildren, Ian Tate, Sydney Tate and Zoelle Seals; one brother, Robert Williams; three brother-in-laws, Kenneth Jackson, Gerald Jackson and Bernard Jackson and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memories last a lifetime only if you share them.
