A candle was lit in memory of Deborah Bratton

I have fond memories of Deborah, after working with her for four years in one of my past positions at VCU. She was highly competent in her field, collegial, with a good sense of humor supplemented by a great sense of occasional mischief-making :-). My condolences and sympathy to her family and friends.

I offer my heart felt sympathy to Deborah's friends and family. It was my pleasure to worked with Deborah from 1996 until my retirement in 2019. She always looked out for our best interest, was a fierce friend, and highly knowledgeable when it came to her job. Her VCU family will feel her absence.

Deepest condolences to Deborah's family and closest friends. Deborah and I worked together for over 15 years and I will miss her tremendously. Her strong sense of perfection and accuracy will live on in all who served with her at VCU. She always had our backs and was always there to assist a coworker. She was very giving and never asked for anything in return. I will miss her laughter and sense of humor. Rest in peace Deborah.

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends. Deborah had a vast amount of knowledge of VCU's procurement systems which proved to be a most valuable asset to our team. She was always helpful in sharing her knowledge and offering assistance anytime I asked. She will be truly missed and hard to replace. May Deborah rest in heavenly peace now.
