Curtis Cross, born on January 18, 1958, peacefully departed this life on March 16, 2025. He lived a remarkable 67 years that were dedicated to his family, faith, and career.

A proud graduate of Manor High School, Curtis was awarded a full scholarship to Norfolk State University, where he honed his skills on the basketball court for two years. Basketball was not just a passion for him; it shaped his early years and instilled in him the values of teamwork and perseverance.

His work was not merely a job; it was a testament to his unwavering dedication to his family, which he cherished deeply. His favorite Bible verse, John 3:16, serves as a reflection of his beliefs: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." This profound statement guided him through life and offered comfort to those around him.

He leaves behind three beloved children (Jeroid Cross, Crystal Cross & Tiffany Cross) and two surviving brothers (Thurman Cross & Irving Cross), and four grandchildren who will carry on his legacy of love and faith.
