Chana was born on September 15, 1987 in Norfolk, VA to Karen Sutton and Maurice Mitchell.
Chana is survived by both her parents, maternal grandmother, Phyllis Sutton, her siblings, Montel Sutton, Sharniece Sutton, Deshawn Sutton, her nieces, Myesha Hardy, Khamiyah Bush-Gault, Deaja Parker and LaZyah Waters-Sutton, her nephew Fernando Edwards and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and god-children. Chana graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She worked as a CNA. She was kind, generous and she loved the Lord. Chana lived her life making sure she was there for her family. She cared for her nieces, nephew and god-children like they were her own. She was known for her quick wit, her infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit. Despite her own challenges, she desired to serve God, live her life to the fullest and be available for her family. Chana especially loved and was cherished by her best friends Tia and Kendra Scott.
Chana will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, support, and encouragement at this difficult time. May the peace and comfort of The Lord keep you.
