Carlethia "Lisa" Glover

Carlethia "Lisa" Jones on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, God peacefully called Lisa home to be with the Lord after a short medical fight caused by cardiac arrest.

Carlethia Marcetta Glover was born March 5, 1966 to the late Robert and Gladys Jones in Portsmouth, Va. She was also known to most as “Lisa Jones” and was the youngest of five children. Lisa graduated from Manor High School in 1983 completing her studies a year sooner than normal, then went on to attended college. Lisa was bright when it came to studies, she had a natural brightness that came without effort in her studies.

Lisa enjoyed working different jobs before she decided to take up studies to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked in the medical field for 5 years before her health begin to fail her. She began spending more time with her family and friends whom she loved dearly.

Lisa was predeceased by her mother, father, brother (Willie), and husband Mack Glover III. She leaves to cherish in her memories her children (Danielle, DaShawn, Christina, and Chanel; Daughter n law Danita Glover grandchildren (Nyasia, Jamiya, Raijon, Christian ,Deshawn Jr., Jada ,Antonio & Kah’Niya ) sisters (Phyllis Reid; Decatur, GA and Zelma Cox Portsmouth, VA) a brother (Robert “Doc” Jones; Portsmouth, VA) Best Friend Suzette Watson & nephew Eddie Robinson , nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles and a host of friends. She will be truly missed & Loved !
