Arthur Ray Wilson

Arthur Ray Wilson gained his heavenly wings on March 21st. (Ray Boy) as he was affectionally called, was born December 17, 1946 in Chesapeake Virginia. He was predeceased by his wife Sarah Martin Wilson; Parents; Ernest & Josephine Wilson. Sisters Marva Wilson Marsh & Minister Angelen Wilson Walker.

Ray worked for Old Dominion University, Norfolk  & The Chesapeake Public Schools for many years. He was a kind, gentle, caring & giving person; always willing to give and share whatever he had. He was a great storyteller & philosopher. Whenever there was trouble or if the family was facing the storms of life; his favorite word was “Just pray, It will be ok!

He leaves to cherish his memories are his brothers: Roy Leonard Wilson. Ernest Wilson. Jr. (Ulla). Sisters; Selma Wilson Ricks (Percell), Loretta Beard (Maynard) Patsy Wilson Johnson; A Special Aunt; Catherine Waddell & a host of nephews, nieces, cousins & friends.

It is the desire of the family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
